When will Version 6 be ready for release?

The BETA testing may take up to eight weeks whilst we iron out any little problems – all current Caretaker sites will be informed when it is ready for general release.

What is the difference between Version 5 and Version 6?

What environment will Caretaker Version 6 operate in?

Caretaker Version 6 can operate in Microsoft Vista, XP, 2000 environments.

What will it cost to upgrade to Version 6 from my current Caretaker software?

The cost to upgrade to Version 6 for properties who have a current Caretaker license is $250.00.

What will it cost for new properties wanting to purchase a new license?

The cost for a new purchase is still $895.00

How is the system upgraded?

Version 6 must be loaded from scratch – because the file structures and databases are dynamically different from previous versions, we ask that all sites start Version 6 from an end of financial period, when the trust account has been brought back to zero.  The details need to be entered in from a clear cut off date.
